Comes with an app and it is connected to Alexa. Once you set it all up and name the outlet what you want it does what it says it does. You can also set a schedule for the outlet. Our outlet come on at 8:20 am and get turned off at 10:00 pm, if we leave the house we just tell Alexa a to “Turn off ” as we are walking out the door. No fuss. Great buy.

Love these plugs. I bought two of them. These plugs are pretty neat because you can turn them on and off with your phone no matter where you are. You can also set up a schedule for them to automatically turn on and off on top of setting a timer if you like, on top of pressing the button on the switch to manually power cycle them on and off.
