Fermenting is healthy and good. These fermentation lids make it as easy as it can get. Just fill your jar, add a weight and the lid takes care of making it air tight and does the burping for you. Try them, you will like them.
First time fermenting veggies. Was extremely easy and worked great. All you do is put this in place of the lid. You do not have to squeeze the top. The air will work itself out. Did not have any mold grow on my veggies!! Excellent buy!!

If you are running a small scale home-brew setup, these lids are perfect for half-gallon fermentations. The lids will stay fairly puffy, but you can burp the lids.

These are amazing. They are good quality easy to clean/sterilize and work wonderfully. I sterilized them and then did a 9-day fermentation with hot peppers and garlic and they fermented great with no mold whatsoever. Highly recommend!!
I have wanted to make sauerkraut for a while now, but the various ways to vent the fermentation seemed troublesome. These "fermentation lids" solve the problem elegantly. They can be fully sanitized and then you simply put them on the jar full of your cabbage.
